Scanning to a PDF File
This is a basic guide to scanning things into a PDF document. You can click on any image for a larger version, which opens in a new window.
Press the scan button (the button with a picture of a scanner above it):
A window will pop up, asking which program you wish to use. Select HP PrecisionScan.

HP PrecisionScan will start up.
*Note* If you need to change your image resolution, you can do it now.

Resolution for images to be posted on the Internet is 90 dpi.

Resolution for images to be printed by a Printer is 300 dpi.

After your resolution is set, select Acrobat Exchange 4.0 from "Scan To": the drop-down list.

Then click "Scan."
Once the scanning is complete, crop (select) which areas you'd like to keep (if any must be specified).
Then click "Accept."

After you click "Accept,"Adobe Acrobat will start.
Once its finished, you can then save the image as a PDF, giving it whatever file name you want.

We hope that this page has been helpful to you and we welcome any suggestions for additions, corrections, etc.
