Scholarships
The UW-Rock County Foundation supports over 25 scholarships each year for students who attend UW-Rock County. The scholarship
program offers encouragement and financial assistance to
promising students.
What are the Requirements?
New Students
- Acceptance at UW-Rock County for the academic year
- Graduation from high school by August 31 and class ranking in the top 25%
- Submission of ACT scores and transcript
- Presentation of two letters of recommendation, an essay, and complete the scholarship application (PDF)
- A completed FAFSA form or copy of parent's most recent tax return may be required if the scholarship has a financial need component.

Selection is made from an evaluation of the following: class rank, ACT score, essay, letters of recommendation and attainment of scholarship criteria.
Continuing Students
- Acceptance at UW-Rock County for the following academic school year
- Record of previous credits earned at an accredited college or university
- Proof of cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at prior institution. Grades earned seven years or more prior to application are disregarded
- Submit an essay, two letters of recommendation, and complete the scholarship application (PDF)
- A completed FAFSA form or copy of parent's most recent tax return may be required if the scholarship has a financial need component.
