Rock Prairie Concert Band to Perform Oct. 7

JANESVILLE - The Rock Prairie Concert Band is pleased to start the 2009-2010 season with its fall concert on Wednesday October 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kirk Denmark Theatre on the campus of UW-Rock County, 2909 Kellogg Ave.

According to band director Jeff Suarez, this concert will include challenging staples of the concert band idiom, including works by Grainger, John Adams, Claude T. Smith and others.
