Teach a course for youth or adults at UW-Rock County
JANESVILLE – The University of Wisconsin-Rock County Office of Continuing Education is seeking proposals and instructors for non-credit education courses to be held during the fall semester 2009. Individuals interested in teaching non-credit courses at UW-Rock County for youth or adults during the fall semester should submit a course proposal form by June 15.
The UW-Rock Office of County Continuing Education offers a variety of non-credit courses and educational trips for all ages. Fall non-credit classes are scheduled to begin in October and conclude in early May. Evening classes are typically held between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on weeknights. Classes for youth can be conducted on Saturday mornings or weekday evenings. Classes can be as short as one hour or can be offered in multi-week sessions (up to six classes) for two to three hours each session. Possible course topics include, but are not limited to: science, history, art, dance, world languages, book discussions and music appreciation. Teachers may use UW-Rock County facilities including the greenhouse, theatre, art studio, computer labs and classrooms.
