UW-Rock County Foundation elects president and appoints board member

Janesville – The UW-Rock County Foundation board of directors recently elected Ann Johnson of Janesville as board president and welcomed Larry Barton of Janesville as a board member, bringing the number of directors to 20.

Johnson, owner of handbag company APJ Designs, has served on the board since 2007 and will serve a two-year term as president. Barton, a semi-retired partner with the law firm of Nowlan & Mouat LLP, will serve a three-year term.

Jennifer Johns, executive director of the foundation, says the Foundation is fortunate to have such experienced board members. “Both Ann and Larry bring a wealth of experience, having served on numerous other non-profit boards within the community,” says Johns.

The UW-Rock County Foundation provides more than 40 scholarships to students attending UW-Rock County as well as funding for campus enhancements, professional development and cultural opportunities. For more information, call (608) 758-6628.
