UW-Rock County students inducted into prestigious honor society

Janesville - The following students were inducted into UW-Rock County’s Beta Mu Chi Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges: Christopher Don Jenkins of Stoughton, Sara Charm McGlasson-Maynard of Beloit and Sarah Josephine Weir of Janesville.

Students in the honor society must be enrolled in an accredited institution offering an associate degree program, have completed a minimum of 12 hours of coursework, maintain a minimum 3.5 grade point average and adhere to the high moral standards of the society.

Phi Theta Kappa is the oldest and largest honor society for two-year campuses in the United States with over 2 million members located in all 50 states, U.S. territories, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Germany, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, United Arab Emirates and Palau.
