UW-Rock County students inducted into English honor society

Janesville - The following students were inducted into UW-Rock County’s Gamma Delta Chapter of Sigma Kappa Delta, the English honor society for two-year colleges: Jacob Baker, Kyle Hopper, Darcy Huffman, Sara McGlasson-Maynard and Heather Meuret of Beloit; Anne Baumann and of Joseph Gracyalny of Clinton; Heather Filer of Evansville; Keith Bach, Cheryl Bordner, Hannah Hollingsworth, Angela Holmes, Melissa Sennett and Sarah Weir of Janesville; and Kaylla O’Connell of Milton.
Students in the honor society must be enrolled in a two-year college with a Sigma Kappa Delta chapter; have completed at least one college course in English language or literature; have no grade lower than a B in English; have a minimum grade point average of 3.3 in general scholarship; and have completed at least 12 semester hours of college course work.
