UW System placement tests in math and English are required of all new freshmen, and transfer students without previous college level courses in math and English.  You will be notified of placement testing dates, after your admission decision has been made.  The UW-Rock County does not offer foreign language placement testing, and placement testing results will not affect your admission status.  Placement testing results will determine your placement into either degree credit or non-degree credit math and English courses.  Re-entry or current students will not be permitted to take additional placement tests in a subject, once they have completed a course in that subject.  There is a placement testing fee.
