Message:
My primary interest is in communication education. The majority of my research is centered in critiquing educational discourse. In particular, I have examined the ideology of public communication textbooks throughout the 20th century. I have recent publications in Communication Education and Communication Teacher. I am working on an analysis of the communication in romantic relationships in the Twilight series.

I am also currently serving as President of Wisconsin Communication Association.
