Message:
My current research focus is the study of swords and swordplay in literature. I’m particularly interested in the interdisciplinary connections between western fighting arts, fencing, and literature, both modern and ancient. I am working toward a fencing coach certification with Mike Garrison at UW Madison, and I advise the Sabre Rattlers Fencing Club.

I am also the advisor for Altered Reality—the science-fiction and fantasy club.
