Anthropology is a fascinating field of inquiry that explores human diversity in the past and present. My professional interests as an archaeologist are with the late prehistoric culture history of Native Americans in the American Midwest (AD 600 – 1700), and the history of anthropology and science. At UW-Rock County. I teach a variety of anthropology courses, which include topics in archaeology, cultural anthropology and biological anthropology. In the classroom I enjoy engaging students in discussions of various topics, rather than conducting classes as a straight lecture format.
