Financial Aid
Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA): a direct link to the free online federal financial aid application (UW Colleges School Code: 003897)
As a student in a collaborative program shared between two schools, you'll need to pay careful attention to how your academic history affects your financial needs.
Once you've begun your engineering major coursework offered by UW-Platteville, or have earned 90 or more credits (including transfer and non-degree/remedial credits), please refer to UW-Platteville Financial Aid and Scholarship Information.
If you have not yet earned 90 credits and are only completing pre-engineering and general education courses, you should apply for financial aid through UW Colleges.
Federal regulations require all institutions to establish academic standards that ensure students are progressing toward the completion of a degree. For instance, a student must be registered for a minimum of six credits each semester to be eligible for financial aid. See UW Colleges policy for more details. It's your responsibility as a student to acquaint yourself with the entire policy. Questions can be directed to the UW-Rock County Student Services Office in Hyatt-Smith Hall, where appropriate financial aid forms and details are available. You should also check the UW Colleges catalog for complete descriptions of student financial aid policies and regulations.
